Inspection and Maintenance on MSC Brake Lining

Brake lining is a key safety part in automobile braking system whose performance is directly related to the braking effect of automobile, that is to say, it is closely related to the safety of automobile. Therefore, it is particularly important for the daily maintenance of MSC brake lining. The following aspects should be paid attention to in daily inspection and maintenance:

1. Under normal driving conditions, check MSC brake lining once every 5000 km, not only checking the remaining thickness, but also checking the wear state of the brake lining, whether the degree of wear on both sides is the same, whether the return is free, etc. Abnormal conditions must be dealt with immediately once found out.

2. Be sure not to wait for friction material to wear out before replacing MSC brake lining. Some vehicles have brake lining alarm function. Once the wear limit is reached, the dashboard will give an alarm to remind you to replace MSC brake lining. MSC brake lining that reach the limit of use must be replaced, even if they can be used for a period of time, it will reduce the effect of braking, affecting the safety of driving.

3. MSC brake lining to be replaced should be the spare parts provided by the original. Only in this way can the brake effect between the brake linings and the brake flange be the best and wear the least.

4. When replacing MSC brake lining, special tools must be used to push back the brake pump. Don't use other crowbars to press back. This will easily lead to the brake clamp guide screw bending, causing the brake block stuck.

5. Make sure to step on a few feet to eliminate the gap between MSC brake linings and the brake disc after replacing MSC brake linings.

6. After MSC brake lining is replaced, the best braking effect can be achieved only by running in 200 km. Because the newly replaced MSC brake lining, please drive with caution.
