Factory Inspection and Maintenance Precautions for Semi-trailer

In order to meet the customer's use requirements, our new semi trailers are strictly inspected and dedicated to ensure that each trailer is completely delivered to the customer. Trailers can only leave the factory after passing the inspection. A product certificate is attached when leaving the factory. Safe driving is the top priority. To prevent problems, the trailer will routinely check the following items before leaving the factory:

1. Tire Pressure

Visually check for lack of gas and debris adhesion, and then look for deformation and cracks in the steel rim. Generally tires are adjusted by the manufacturer to the recommended level of the tire. When the tire pressure is too high, the middle part of the tread wears out. It will intensify, not only shorten the service life of the tire, but also affect the grip performance of the tire, which is not conducive to driving safety. Too low tire pressure will result in tire puncture and accelerated wear.

2. Check the Tightness of All Nuts, Screws and Bolts

Don't be too troublesome about this detail, you should check whether each screw is tightened one by one.

3. The Suspension System

Seeing the tightness of all nuts and bolts and U-bolts, it is all about whether you eat a tire.

4. Check and Ensure That the Outriggers Are Working Properly

During the outrigger inspection, shake up and down and try a few times, and check for cracks in the weld.

Check outriggers to make sure they work

5. Check the Wear of Moving Parts

Look at the box board, the lock lever and reach out the small parts such as the box board hinges, box hooks, cuttings, and container locks to see if there are any cracks and breaks.

6. Check All Lamps and Reflective Signs

Check whether the electrical road works normally, turn on the car to see if there are any bad lights, and check for any shortage of reflective signs.

Check reflective signs posted intact

The trailer owner needs to pay attention to the following items for the maintenance of trailer season changes:

1. Lubrication

The semi-trailer traction pin, as a key component of the semi-trailer train connection force, is subjected to multi-dimensional spatial moments, alternating loads and dynamic impact forces during the vehicle operation. The force force system is complex and the use requirements are high. After newly receiving the trailer, carefully check the trailer traction plate surface for bump damage, burrs and foreign matter such as welding slag and welding knobs. If present, remove and repair it in time, otherwise the saddle and traction plate will be abnormally worn and strained in the later stage. problem.

In order to drive safely and prolong the service life of semi-trailers, it is necessary to regularly lubricate the legs and traction plates, traction pins, and oil on wheel bearings on time, which can reduce friction and reduce fuel consumption, and also the viscosity of organic oil. Use viscosity in winter Lower motor oil.

When replenishing grease, pay attention to the following: the oiling utensils and the oil cup should be cleaned first; when the oil cup cannot be filled with grease, check the cause and replace it if it is damaged.

2. Monthly Inspection

(1) Check whether any leaf spring reed is broken;

(2) Check whether the brake is normal and replace the worn parts in time;

(3) Check the brake drum for cracks or abnormal wear;

(4) Inspect all fasteners, focusing on the fasteners used for legs, tires, axles, etc. (in any case, nuts, screws and other fasteners should be tightened to the recommended torque parameters);

(5) Check all brake system joints and hoses for damage and hose clips.

3. Once A Year Maintenance

After the vehicle has been in use for 6 months, a comprehensive inspection is performed every 12 months to ensure the performance of the vehicle. In addition to the monthly inspection performance, the following matters should be noted:

(1) Remove the brake drum and thoroughly check that the brake shoes have no extra or improper wear;

(2) Check the brake shoe return spring, brake bush, camshaft sleeve, brake shoe drum, etc. for damage;

(3) Thoroughly inspect bearings, axle connecting parts, and vehicle structure.
