The Significance Of MSC Brake Linings in Braking System

In the process of using MSC brake lining, the friction block will be gradually worn due to the friction effect. Besides, MSC brake lining should be replaced promptly after friction material has been run out, otherwise the steel plate will have direct contact with the brake flange, eventually losing the braking effect and damaging the brake disc as well as affecting driving safety. Please check and replace MSC brake lining regularly for the driving security.

Automobile friction material is the key material of friction (contact) brake and clutch for braking and transmission.  MSC brake lining is the key component of vehicle brake transmission, which directly affects the safe travel performance. The main task of automobile brake in the 21st century is to be safer, lighter and meet the requirements of environmental protection, which requires not only the development of new materials, but also the adoption of new structures and systems, in order to greatly improve the integrated performance of brakes and achieve lightweight. The performance of  MSC brake lining has direct effect on the normal use of the automobile brake system, which is concerned about the realization of vehicle comfort and safety.

According to the processing temperature,  MSC brake lining production process can be divided into three categories: hot pressing, cold pressing and warm pressing. Hot pressing process has a long history of application, mature technology and wide application, which is currently adopted by most Chinese trailer manufacturers. Both cold pressing and warm pressing processes belong to low-temperature forming and novel friction material production with relatively superior performance. Although some achievements have been made in the research of these new processes, they are still in the exploration stage and the technology is not mature yet, which needs to be further developed.
